About Us
As president and founder of Impact Interactions, Mike Rowland leads our engagements with large organizations to utilize online communities and interactive features to engage their site visitors and generate measurable business results. Through our work with Cisco, AARP, SAP, Intel, NEA, Sony, Cabelas, ATT, and others, Mike has developed many of the industry leading best practices for launching, managing, and reporting on online communities and social networks. His experience extends to launching native language communities around the globe, building end to end reporting strategies to identify the key business results of online communities, and the project management of several online community and social network launches. (Prior to founding Impact Interactions, Mike built Participate Systems aka Participate.com into one of the pioneers in the online community management world. In his role, Mike was responsible for the management of the majority of Participate’s clients.) With a strong background in financial analysis and marketing, Mike brings a focused, analytical approach to help our clients succeed. Dan Bruhn, Senior Consultant Prior to joining Impact Interactions, Dan worked with Cisco Systems' award winning Networking Professionals Community (NetPro). In his role with Impact Interactions, Dan leads our engagements within Cisco, including the on-going moderation engagement for NetPro. Additionally, Dan will provide strategic consulting for Impact Interactions' business-to-business clients pursuing online community-based interactive strategies. Dan's previous experience includes his work as a Senior Community Manager with Participate Systems and selling High Technology products and services for CDW.
